The Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency offers “Idle-Free Zone” signs to southwest Ohio schools and communities in an effort to promote cleaner, healthier air by encouraging drivers to turn the key and be idle free. The signs, which read, “Turn Engine Off Breathe Better, Save Money” have successfully been distributed and posted in Hamilton, Butler, Clermont and Warren counties. Over one hundred signs are posted at schools, libraries, community centers, parks, daycare facilities, residential complexes and higher education institutions.
