On February 2, 2010, INEOS ABS (USA) Corporation entered into a Consent Decree with the United States of America and the State of Ohio to resolve outstanding violations of air pollution law. The Consent Decree required the continuation of the air toxic monitoring program that began 2005 near the INEOS ABS (USA) Corporation facility located in Addyston, Ohio.
The air toxic monitor located at Kibby Lane is being operated to comply with the Consent Decree requirement. The Kibby Lane location was chosen after consultation with the State of Ohio, the Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency, INEOS ABS (USA) Corporation, and citizen stakeholders. The first sample collected at this site was taken on August 19, 2012.
Due to Ohio's COVID-19 Stay at Home order, data is not available for April and most of May, 2020.
